Fresno Numismatic Society
The Fresno Numismatic Society is dedicated to promoting the hobby of collecting and studying coins, currency and medals. The club was organized in 1946 and has been serving the greater Fresno area ever since. As of 2018 we are a currently registered "unincorporated nonprofit association" in the state of California.
The club meets on the second Tuesday of every month (January through November) at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3973 N. Cedar Avenue, Fresno, CA 93726. Meetings start at 7:00pm with doors opening at 6:30pm.
The Society hosts an Annual Coin Show on the fourth weekend in October. The show features approximately 20 dealers from throughout California and Nevada. The show typically offers free numismatic literature, information about FNS, a Young Numismatist activity for the kids, and a raffle for silver and gold prizes.
