President's Welcome 

     Welcome to the home page for the Fresno Numismatic Society. Our Society is your Local Coin Club, right here in Fresno, California. The FNS is dedicated to spreading the awareness of the hobby of collecting coins and currency.

     The society was founded in 1946 and continues to meet on the second Tuesday every month January through November, from 7-9 PM. The public is invited to check out our meetings which are held at our temporary location: the Cecil Cox American Legion Post 147, at 508 4th Street, Clovis, CA 93612. We are unable to return to our "regular" location (UC Merced Building, 550 E. Shaw Avenue, Fresno CA 93710) until COVID restrictions have been lifted by UC. In the meantime the Clovis Post 147 site has been working for us.

     Our meeting programs include member reports, a feature presentation, refreshments, a silent auction, and a membership prize drawing. Most meetings include a raffle for nice coin prizes.  The Fresno Numismatic Society also hosts the annual Coin Show in Fresno CA every October.

     If you are interested in coins, currency, precious metals, or other numismatic-related topics, feel free to join us at our next monthly meeting. All are welcome and admission is free. We would be excited to meet you and share you enthusiasm about coins, currency, medals, or any other aspect of numismatics.
